Weary of life and lacking grace
Misted days with broken trees
Within grey light none reciprocate
Dictionaries of thought escape
A moment left bereft of taste
Misery endured for friendship sake
where halls echo beside themselves
dreams of once was reminds the eye
Places kept close but gone in time
Where the lonely spirit cannot cry
The dew upon the grass catches
crystal pillows against softness dwells
The soul expels a breath in kind
Misting up the window pane
Tears coalesce down the glass
Memories fade in to the gutter
A spark a thought and hunger blame
Dizziness in the empty chair again
Painted statues mock and harass
Unutterable things within the heart
Weeds of tomorrow are renamed
Magpies fly in flocks of one the same
Tiredness invokes such pallid things
And again No duty left but to forget
and again stuttering until the end
watch and wait and contemplate
a moment to joy in the summer sun
